Welcome to Spanish class!
This school year I will be teaching 8th grade and 6th grade Spanish at the Jackson Hole Middle School. All students are encourage to speak Spanish as much as possible in the classroom and to be comfortable making mistakes. Willingness to participate and learn will quickly advance the level of the language.

I will try to update this blog every Friday to inform students and parents about what we will be working on the following week.
SIXTH GRADE
This week we began by saying hello, introducing ourselves, and saying where we are from. We also practiced numbers 1-20.
¿Comó te llamas? Me llamo _________.
¿De dónde eres? Soy de Mexico.
¿Comó estas? Estoy bien, así así, mal.
Sixth grade Spanish classes only meet twice a week. Either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday.
EIGHTH GRADE
This week was a review of 7th grade Spanish including, numbers, greetings, the calendar, colors, body parts, and school items.
Eighth grade Spanish meets every day during first period.
