I will only be at the Middle School on Tuesday night for conferences!
EIGHTH GRADE: The eighth grade has finished creating and decorating their sugar skulls in our celebration of Dia de los muertos or Day of the dead. Tuesday the 3rd we will review for our chapter test on chapter 4A including question words, places around town, and the verb IR: to go. The test will be Wednesday the 4th and then we will begin with the next chapter 4B which continues on with sports, the verb jugar: to play, and emotions. The homework on Tuesday will be to study and there will be homework on the new chapter on Wednesday. No homework on Thursday for the long weekend.

SIXTH GRADE: The sixth graders had a day of celebration for the day of the dead and they created either a skull mask or a skeleton puppet. Tuesday and Wednesday the 3rd and 4th I will be introducing classroom items and revisiting greetings. There will be homework in their workbooks on Tuesday/Wednesday practicing classroom items and numbers on page 6.

I will be out next week the 9th to the 13th. The eighth graders will continue to work with the new chapter and they will be watching a video at the end of the week called Under the Same Moon about immigration. The sixth graders will be doing a country project using Google earth on the computers.
